Returns and right of withdrawal

Voluntary 30-day return policy

In addition to your statutory 14-day right of withdrawal, we voluntarily offer a total return period of 30 days from the date you receive the goods.

For voluntary returns after the statutory withdrawal period has ended, items must be unworn, unused and complete. Where applicable, labels and original packaging must also be included. A receipt or other proof of purchase is required.

Your statutory rights, including your statutory right of withdrawal and your rights relating to defective goods, are not affected by our voluntary return policy.

Please do not send parcels with postage payable by the recipient. Keep your proof of postage until the return has been fully processed. Asking you to contact us first does not restrict your statutory right of withdrawal.

Return shipping costs

If you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal or voluntarily return an item because you have changed your mind or chosen the wrong size, you are responsible for the direct cost of return shipping. In these cases, you must arrange and pay for your return label yourself.

If an item is defective, arrives damaged or the wrong item was delivered, Granny’s World will cover the necessary return shipping costs in accordance with your statutory rights. Please contact us so that we can review the issue and provide return instructions.

Damaged, defective or incorrect items

Please check your order when it arrives. If an item is damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible at grannysworldug@gmail.com.

If possible, include your order number, a brief description of the issue and photographs. Your statutory rights concerning defective goods remain unaffected.

Exclusions from the voluntary return policy

The following types of goods may, in particular, be excluded from the voluntary return policy:

• Goods made to order or personalised goods;
• Goods liable to deteriorate or expire rapidly;
• Sealed goods which are not suitable for return for health protection or hygiene reasons once their seal has been removed after delivery.

Statutory withdrawal and warranty rights remain unaffected. Any exceptions to the statutory right of withdrawal apply only where provided for by law.

Exchanges

For a faster exchange of a non-defective item, we recommend returning the item and then placing a new order. For defective, damaged or incorrect items, please contact us first so we can find an appropriate solution.

Statutory right of withdrawal

If you are a consumer, you have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period expires 14 days after the day on which you, or a third party nominated by you other than the carrier, acquire physical possession of the goods. If several items from one order are delivered separately, the period expires 14 days after receipt of the final item.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision to withdraw from the contract by an unequivocal statement sent to:

You may use the model withdrawal form below, but you do not have to.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your communication concerning the exercise of your right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Effects of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will reimburse all payments received from you, including the costs of our least expensive standard delivery option. We will not reimburse supplementary delivery costs resulting from your choice of a more expensive delivery option.

We will reimburse you without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we are informed of your decision to withdraw. We may withhold reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have supplied evidence of having sent them back, whichever is earlier.

We will reimburse you using the same payment method as you used for the initial transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not incur fees as a result of reimbursement.

You must send back or hand over the goods without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired. You must bear the direct cost of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish their nature, characteristics and functioning.

Refunds for voluntary returns

For voluntary returns after the statutory withdrawal period has ended, refunds are normally processed within ten working days of receipt and inspection of the returned goods. Your payment provider may take additional days to process the payment.
